For those of us who are testosterone-poisoned, some incurably -

Now's the time to start crowin' about your team!!! No whining about who kneels, all that garbage - I get enough of that elsewhere -

JUST THE GAME!!!

As for me, these guys don't get NEAR enough cred -

KEEP POUNDING!!!

Gotta admit, it was great seeing football back again last night!

This is probably the last year the band is all together...
so for those of you slobs following the 31 Tomato Cans,
hey! There's light at the end of the tunnel!!

'Under/Over' betting:
1. Wentz - 6
2. Deshaun Watson - 9
3. da Browns - 3
4. Luck - 1

Q. Who should I feel, in the AFC, as a threat to NE:
A. I's got nothing.

Crap like this just breaks your heart:
Panthers RT Daryl Williams suffered a dislocated kneecap and an MCL tear.

Hate to hear those stories..esp during mini camp!

Not looking fwd to the new helmet rule...going to be as screwed up as
the 'what's a catch' mess!

Go Pats!

Bustin' yer balls about THIS game, Buc, just isn't sportsmanlike.

So I won't. I just hope noone gets hurt.

But I would have bet the final score of last night's snoozefest would have been more than 5-0.

yecchhhh. Yet another reason to despise pre-season.

I'm laser-focused on the opener against the CowPatties....

Ah yes, a new beginning. Looking forward to Day One against New Englandland.

On a sad note, I’m thinking of starting a GoFundMe drive for a certain Ancient Mariner named after a grain commonly grown in a flyover state, since the impending free fall to mediocrity of the local Beantown, um, “team” will leave that grumpy old coot with nothing more to beat his toothless gums about.

I’m thinking that the money from the GoFundMe drive will help ol’ BW open a shop to put neon tennis balls on aluminum walkers!

Tell ya what - if the home team wins the opener, I will ship you a new pair of those Velcro shoes with the crepe soles that you love so much. I thought about a shiny new Optivisor, but I don’t think you’d know how to find your model bench, or what do once you got there!

Yore pal -

Filmy

Yeah, that 1st half was beyond snorefest!! Our WR ranks suck beyond
despair, and all these millennials were jumping up and down last week at
"...that GREAT pass rush" ...when in reality, they ALWAYS pass rush the crap out
during the preseason and then fall back to that 'contain' mode during the
season. (like our back field still has Law and Revis!!)

Again, really don't know how you can be a fan of this jamoke ...

beyond sense, man!

It wouldn't have had to be this way if they just listened to Bill and kept the 10 yr plan over the 'what
are we doing this for' plan!

But apparently Robert spoke... and a spoiled diva was born.
alas... t'was a great 18 yr run though! Let's see who can match it!

Looking fwd to wk 1 myself, shippie!

Everyone keep healthy!

Then it will continue to be a mystery to you. If he played for your Cheatriots, you'd be blowin' his horn louder than the foghorn at Foxboro -

I'm a HUGE Cam fan. He's my quarterback, we've won a bunch and been a really exciting team since he's been here. Now, his post-game attire?

Not a fan.

But I couldn't give a sh*t what he wears to his pressers, as long as the number next to the Panthers score is bigger than the opponent -

KEEP POUNDING!!!

SACKSonville is the real deal, Shippie, deal with it.

If the Panther's D played half as good as it did last week, we are talking about a "W" for the 'Cats today.

And yeah, Buc, since both my fantasy opponents this week have Russel Wilson, I am VOCIFEROUSLY pulling for the Bears -

Oh, and even the FISH may be a force to deal with - at least you get to play Buffalo and the JESTS twice -

Not feeling it... heck, they tarp off the majority of their stadium. Only
respectful thought I give these guys is that they hired Couglin. But...
they played us good and are finally 1-10 against us...so we'll see.

Well, I did pick um... so yeah... thanks for screwing up my weekly numbers.
I'll blame Florence and that their heads weren't in the game. (sounds good)

As for the phins... we'll see wk 4. And i'm liking that new kid in Jersey, truth
be told. Hell, it would be nice to have a division half worth a damn!!

(Green boy??!) Yo! nothing??! hmmmmmmm...

:)

I remember back in 2003, opening game of the season for Carolina, we were playing Jacksonville, Rodney Peete was the starter. We were struggling, the energy level was nothin' at the end of the half.

Foxy put Jake DelHomme in to start the second half and it was like the power switch got turned on to "TURBO" in the stadium - we rallied and won the game and were propelled to a Super Bowl season.

The game I watched last night between the Browns and J.E.S.T.S. felt very similar when Baker Mayfield went in. Not sayin' that Cleveland's goin' to the playoffs or anything, but they've got legitimate hope now. Good for them.

Who wudda thought a JETS/Browns, Thursday night game would be
interesting...

But I tuned in near the end of the 2nd qtr and have to admit, I was
hooked! Was kinda neat that we might be seeing the next wave of
new faces. Gawd knows the NFL needs the boost!

The throws Mayfield was threading were impressive... granted, only a
matter of time b4 they have film on him, but had fun watching what
I thought would be a snooze ville!

What did we learn in Wk 3:

Congrats earned for Matty P & Mikey V!! Well
done, boys!!

Pats: don't make me have to break out the Finkle jersey!!

Go Cleveland!! Wooooo... can we give um a ring??! C'mon!
They beat the J.E.T.S.!!

My picks this week took a royal bath... happily everyone
else's did as well, so we all sucked!!

Houston: 'We've got a problem!'

Where was that Jax last week??!

Heart goes out to Jimmy G! Man, that's raw!! Just f'ing
raw!!

Who was that flying beast that just whistled by?!? Was that
a Buffalo??!! Chasing a Viking??! WTF!!!!

Yay, Wentz is back!! Now if we can only find Greenboy!!

GBay??! Really???! Any given sunday, I guess!!

I took Tampa tonight... Fitzy is just so fun to watch after
a game!

Stay healthy, Shippies!
