Re: Dragon garage
That is the cleanest and coolest looking garage I've ever seen in my life.

Re: Dragon garage
Too cool. That's an awesome "castle" you have there.
Jealous, I wish I had 1/2 that space.

I love the rear window louvers on your Vette; reminds me of Tom Daniel's California Street Vette.

Geez Joe - is there ANYTHING you can't do ?!?!?
Looks absolutely amazing - the garage, the house - they both make a personal statement, they both look awesome, and THAT is unquestionably a HOME.
Way to go man - I hope you are proud of what you have achieved and that everyone who visits appreciates what they are lucky enough to see.
REAL talent my friend

Re: Dragon & life size balrog head garage new pics 8/24/19
the balrog head had been displayed in my kit work and display room up in the "tower" for many years.
To get it moved down into the garage, my buddy and I had to take it out on the balcony and then lower it down with ropes. Took us about 2 hours to do the whole project.
The head actually only weighs about 40 pounds but is very awkward to handle.

Bugger! - thought I'd re-posted after your last update and now realise I didn't
Absolutely amazing - and I ADORE your house (inside, outside, AND the setting) - breathtaking, and so relaxing.

Awesome! If you don't mind me asking, what state do you live in?barad_dur wrote:Thanks! I am currently working on improving my kit work and display rooms.

(I am curious about how folks in different climates keep their models - out here in the semi-desert dry Northern Sacramento Valley it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep dust out. 8 months of the year the air is full of it. So, maybe once every 2 or 3 years I run water over the pieces that can take it. The rest of them keep collecting dust. )

Virginia.
Only "dust" challenge I have is that with all the kit bashing that I do, the resulting resin dust is sometimes an issue.

Yup. Green and wet = little dust. You just have humidity to contend with, but by the looks of that upgraded castle of yours I am sure that the HVAC takes care of that 24/7.barad_dur wrote:Virginia.
