I love watching Goobertown videos.
He's like the Bob Ross of mini painters. His voice is just so soothing.

Very helpful video Trevor! Thanks for posting it. I'm not into gaming pieces but this can be applied to most paint jobs.

I have picked up so many more tips watching mini-painters, it's ridiculous.
And they are really good at showing what they are doing. And how they are doing it.

I've got like 4 or 5 guys I watch regularly.
Goobertown
Miniac
Midwinter Minis
Squidmar
All come to mind, right off the top of my head.

The mini guys are quite prolific with the how-to painting/building etc. videos.

I watch some on your list and would add -
Sorastro's Painting
Vince Venturella

Yeah, there are a ton of painting channels out there.
Just have to sample a few, find host you like, and enjoy watching.

The thing that really gets me though. None of them paint sub-assemblies. The build the whole thing, then paint it. Just mind blowing.

Another guy I didn’t mention is Duncan Rhodes. He used to be THE painting guy on the GW painting channel. But he’s off now painting for himself.
Anyway, any “complicated” figures, mini dios, or vehicles, he often recommends sub assembly painting. ;) There’s always someone. Haha;)

Oh, I am sure there are several who do subassemblies. Just none of the guys I watch.
They all build the whole thing, then paint. Getting their brush in these little tight places and laying down detailed paint jobs.
And I'm just sitting there watching, knowing there is no way I could control a brush that well.

Squidmar just put out this great video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcDm-oMXnq4

Of him making a diorama from scratch. He didn't show building the spider, but watching him put that base together and detailing it out was lots of fun.
And I love that color scheme on the spider.
