Holy crap! Didn't know Gen Con was this big

#1 Post by tay666 »

Goobertown Hobbies posted a video today of his trip to GenCon.
I knew the miniature hobby was big, but I had no idea it was this big :o

(also at the 4.33 mark you can see Black Heart set up at the show)

I might have to think about taking a trip. That would be one hell of a four day weekend.

I don't know what it's like now, but the last time I attended was in the mid-nineties, and it was huge even then. I enjoyed the hell out of it, and the "Hucksters Room" was out of this world.

I've never been, but I've seen it in movies and it's 'yuge'. I have too much stuff now, so the last thing I need to do is go thre and get more :)

One thing I do sort of mourn is metal miniatures. There's something about the density of them compared to plastic and resin that is comforting. Also they won't melt if they get too hot.
