Breakfast at Tiffany's [Farm] - Post Apocalyptic Diorama

#1 Post by csoldier »

Not sure if this is the right section for this one. A 1/35th (and similar) scale diorama depicting a scene at Tiffany's Farm in a post-apocalyptic world.
The figures are from Nuts Planet, Modern Armies in Miniature (M.A.I.M.), and some that I printed off. Buildings are from RT - Dioramas.

Having slogged through this I am reminded why I don't attempt too many dioramas

That is so cool! Lot's of detail packed in there.
Keep doing diorama's, I am enjoying them.

Wow!
That's a lot of figures to paint. Not to mention all the rest of it.
As well as putting it all together to tell the story.
I bet it was quite the slog, but man was it worth it.

Thanks All for the comments, definitely a project between projects :). I had originally intended to add interior details the farmhouse, but as it wouldn't be seen from the rear I decided not to. Also had a few MiniArt bits for the 'workshop' which I didn't use in the end as they would not have been visible.

There are at least ten sections that would make great dioramas in their own right. But taken together, its awesome. Like a whole movie unfolding. Outstanding diorama work.

I never visit this section (though I love dioramas).
What a great idea for small scale dioramas---a zombie apocalypse. Good to view from a helicopter angle.

Reminds me that when I was a kid we had some miniature farm animals and farmers--I had one named Fred and my brother had one named Fred.
My Fred was friends with King Kong (the Aurora model) while my brother's Fred was friends with Aurora's Godzilla.

It was an efficiently run farm, let me tell you.
