A report from the IPMS Nats in Columbus

#1 Post by kevtk135 »

Hey all,

At the awards dinner the two MC's, in being funny decided to rename the Figures category as "Nudes and Nazis." :rolf:

Here is a sampling. I thought I took more, but I guess I didn't...

Cool

Was a great show. Collapse industries was there with some really neat busts and Johns Models had a bunch of OOP Blackheart kits. Lots of fun

BTW, the "Believe" bust was mine and got a 2nd behind Dave Prossers Dystopic kit (which graced the cover of AFM a couple issues ago and was stunning)

Agreed I had a great time.
I don't know if I saw those vendors. I'm *not* complaining  but the multiple vendor rooms were a little confusing. I don't even know if I found them all...

Its really hard for us to find a venue with 50,000 square feet. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.

Collapse was down one of the halls. Vendors were all over the place.

Hi Dave,

Oh I know who you are. I'm a politics guy and keep track of the clubs I belong to like that. :D
I realize that not all convention sites are similar and I just go with the flow of what I have.
Honestly, also as a monster guy (as well as space) I know that rarely there's a lot for me to buy at the Nats So besides an occasional x-pane, I go to meet old friends and try to make new ones.
So no convention setup scares me off.
