Was your mailman standing next to an old fashion British police call box.
Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?

Issue #65 in the house!
TOTAL surprise (in a good way) because no-one else had even hinted these were on the way Image

Not had chance to do anything other than flick through it quickly (JUST picked it up and WAY too much on right now!) - but noticed:
  • • There are some nice words about Mike Parks on page 3 and a memoriam on page 9. Look forward to reading those in particular.
    • A 3D printing article by our own Larry Brackney (Zeiram) that looks cool.
    • Plenty of other eye-candy.
Pleased that this one turned up intact - same type of shipping envelope (which IS damaged again) - but the mag is OK this time.

Hope everyone gets theirs soon too :D

Jason's Tiamat on the cover looks badass.

Hi All!

We're getting close to completing Issue #66, which is a Star Wars theme. I have a few more articles to proof once they come in. I'm sure David will chime in with an update once it goes to press.

Thanks for your interest and your patience.

I've always been a supporter of AFM. I enjoy each and every issue and look forward to the next issue. David and Terry and the rest of the staff work hard on each issue and it shows. It keeps us unformed about new kits and techniques unique in our niche hobby and has been a major contributor to the growth of this hobby. I sometimes review my older issues and it's like opening a time capsule illustrating the story of this garage kit world. I thank the staff of AFM for the enjoyment they've given me in those issues. Here's to many more issues to come.

Very well said! You've accurately touched on the importance and joy they've brought to everyone who loves this hobby.

Got mine today.
Completely agree with Terry's editorial - we all need to build more, encourage new comers and head out to a modeling show to keep the hobby vibrant.

Mine turned up in Canada Wednesday (Dec 12th).

Perfect condition despite the best efforts of the USPS & Canada Post envelope-destroying sorting machines :)

At first glance, this is probably the first issue ever (of AFM OR Kitbuilders) where there is nothing of immediate interest for me - but then I'm more of a monster guy.

Would have been into the Falcon and X-Wing articles, but I've read so many now, and seen so many builds (especially of late).

Anyone who's a Star Wars fan should love this though, and I'm sure there will be stuff that will grab my attention once I start reading properly.

Yes, IMHO it is by far too specific.
A more general theme (Monsters, Girls, Super Heroes, whatever)
can touch so many different films and characters and of course free designs.
With that one theme, you're bound.

Would be fine if AFM were a bi-weekly or monthly magazine.
If you're not in Star Wars, you have to wait a half year for "your" next AFigure(!)M.

Just my opinion
