That's the kind of content I'm hoping for too. I always wanted more of Model Mania so maybe there's hope for a digital format so long as it provides the kind of content digital can do best.

This just terrible! I will be supporting the digital format for as long as it is produced.

David's Modelmania DVDs are excellent, if you haven't gotten them. I was blown away by the tutorials and have used a lot of his techniques successfully.

Also, I just purchased issue #27 as a pdf download from them for $5. Well worth it! Just looking at the ads from 2003 got me all misty-eyed....

If they produce the entire run on pdf, I'm in.

I will continue with AFM as a digital format without question. I've enjoyed it and it has been a very happy part of my life for the 26 years it's been going and while I will miss the thrill of having a tough day at work and seeing that envelope on my doorstep, it'll just change form.

I'm game!

Of all the modeling magazines I have bought, read and collected over the years; this was the only one I had the complete run of.

I will miss being able to flip through the pages any time I liked.

I saw the original post on FB, and had the same first thoughts as others - Sad to see it go but was really surprised,
I for one will continue to buy the digital issues, and certainly wish them the best for lots of issues in the future.

Sad news. One of the last magazines I bought and looked forward to.
Don't panic. OK, you can panic a little.

Maybe if successful online they will offer a download of all the issues like Fine scale Modeler did.
