It's Alive Project: Can you spot our members?

#1 Post by BandWFrog »

Hello all,

One of the most successful part of "Son of Monsterpalooza" held this weekend in L.A., was the It's Alive Project exhibit. In a nutshell, 80 artists were given a blank life-size bust of Elsa Lanchester as the bride and were free to re-interpret the character.

Some of our illustrious members/painters were among the participants. See if you can find them. (no peeking at the "name tags").

Jim Lawrence
John Allred
Dan Collona
Alfred Paredes
Shakey Dave
Rick Cantu
Adam Dougherty
Saul Alvarez
Jeff Camp
Casey Love

I'm sorry if I didn't mention other members who contributed their talent to this cool show but whose real names are unknown to me.

PS: Moderators, I understand this is "monsterpalooza-related". But I thought it fits the broader scope of The Garage as it showcases some of our members (sometimes unusual) works. It deserves the higher visibility of this forum. Please feel free to move if my reasoning is flawed.

Thank you.

Olivier
