Check on youtube- there are a few videos. Just type in Monsterpalooza 2011.
I'm sure there will be photo galleries elsewhere on the net very soon.

Hey all,

Working on it, Joe. I have a little over 200 photos. I'm currently cropping and resizing. Was planning on posting them on flickr... until I realized I am limited to only 200 photos (and my pix from Monsterpalooza 2009 are accounting for most of the 175 already on there) in my basic account. :( So I have to clean up my flickr account also.

Hopefully, other members who were there will be able to post before me.

to David W.

Very good demo on Saturday. It was nice to see you "in action" and hear you describe your techniques. Thank you for doing it. Hopefully you can do another one again next year!

I posted pics on my blog. I didn't have a lot of time to get around during the show, as I was sitting at my table for most of it, but I did snap a couple off. Like Dave said, Youtube has already got a number of videos up there and I'm sure you'll find a bunch of people's Photobucket and Flickr galleries going up over the next couple days.

On a side note: Dave, it was a pleasure seeing you there and thanks so much for swinging by the table with that beautiful piece of work. We'll have to talk soon about working on some stuff. I think I might have a few things you'd like to paint (or more specifically, that I'd like you to paint). You're just down the way from me, so we'll have to meet up soon.

Cheers!!

Here's my small photo set. Camera's memory card got full and didn't have means to offload it. Not much but it's a start until other folks can get their pics up!

There's a caption on the bottom, Timothy Reed Martin. I agree, his work is incredible!

The closest thing he has seems to be facebook. Will give him a ping to see if he might be interested in dropping by here.

Tim's a friend of a friend of mine (if you notice the giant skull just above Tim's head - that's my friend's work). I've had lunch with Tim once while visiting my friend at ADI (that's where they both work). He's incredibly talented and a very fast sculptor. Not sure he has time to do a lot of online stuff, but you can try. He sold his creepy Thing like sculpt to Guillermo Del Toro last year, and apparently Guillermo broke it and so he bought another one this time. It was gone by Friday night, but I believe he had pictures of it for Saturday and Sunday.

Cheers!!

Hey all,

I got his business card but left it at home. I'll post his info later. He works for the FX industry, like a lot of the guys who set up tables at Monsterpalooza. I spoke with him briefly. He does it all himself. Sculpts, molds and cast his pieces. Doesn't "mass" produce them. Pours them when he gets an order. I didn't ask for price. The paint jobs are his also!

He had a picture of a beautiful Blair "The Thing" piece at his table. I asked about it and he said he only had a picture to display at the show because Guillermo Del Toro bought it on Friday night. That was the second one that Del Toro had bought from him, (first one was Monsterpalooza last year but he broke it and wanted another one). That speaks volume about the quality of the guys' work.

The Medusa is stunning!!! I'll try to post more pictures today.

Hey all,

What Alfred said! :D

Here are my pictures of Tim's work. His take on Medusa is brilliant, imho. That was my second most favorite sculpt of Monstrepalooza 2011. (My most favorite was the massive Soulkeeper piece by Ken Kidwell, who sculpted the Head Merchant a couple of years back)

I have to agree, the Kraken sculpt is phenomenal, as is the Medusa. Heck even the Leviathan
totally rocks out, even though the movie was not that good. Would love to get that Krakken.

Thanks for more pics and info. Will keep searching out his work. The crocodile elements in the medusa tail is genius.
