Got myself a Sassy's psycho; a revenge of the creature with girl: some cool accessory parts; my Kong Allosaurus kit: lots of time with my "in house sfx expert......Matt Lawrence (from who I got some lighting effects) an aurora t shirt AND time to catch up with and say hello to everyone! That's probably the coolest part of the show!

Re: What'd you get at Resintopia?
I got the pure joy of hanging out with cool people and talking monsters and models! A day of being 12 years old again.
I also picked up some cool kits and stuff:
Blackheart's awesome Bram Stoker bust that I've been eyeing for awhile.
Geo's Beast From 20,000 Fathoms
Resin Bench's Lilith figure and had it signed by Roberto!
Cult of Personalities Devil Bat conversion for Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Nameplates from Fritz for Nosferatu and The Addams Family
4 dvds from Bruce Tinkel of rare Hammer titles, Camp on Blood Island, Secret of Blood Island, Cat Girl and a Hammer documentry.
Clay shapers from the Complete Sculptor
Frige magnets of Addams Family, Lily Munster and Vampira (love those Goth girls)
and of course, Black Sunday when castings are ready! Love that kit and seeing it first hand on Vin's table made me want it even more!

Re: What'd you get at Resintopia?
Picked up Vin's LAM kit and drooled over most of the other kits he had on display.
But one of the best things I picked up from Vin was a tip on a kit that could be re-released in a few months

Re: What'd you get at Resintopia?
Hey folks! Had a great time talking with everyone that I haven't seen in what feels like forever.
As for what I bought:
Resin:
Tiffany is Breakfast for $50! (Thanks Jesse!)
A Mad Lab's Tiny Terrors Tubunga and a Jason Vorhees bust (Thanks Ed)
DVDs:
Got 7 DVDs from Bruce, who always has great stuff.
Magnets:
A Big Bang Theory one for a daughter (she is 2, but loves Sheldon and Penny), a Jem one for the wife, and a Cobra Wants You! one (GI Joe) for me.
Not a huge haul, but considering that I have been having to sell off kits of late, it was nice to get to talk with everyone and share some great laughs.

Re: What'd you get at Resintopia?
I picked up one of Vin's "Formula for Life" (Colin Clive) kits, plus took lots of photos of the casting he had pieced together of "Black Sunday" (definitely on the list for WF).
I also had the distinct pleasure of having Jeff Yagher sign my build-ups of his Model Giants LAM bust and the Monarch Nosferatu.
Finally (and most importantly), I hung out with a great group of folks who I look forward to seeing again at WF later this year and at Resintopia 3 next year

I've got most all of Jesse's (plus more in the front of the pic). Those are the new Minitaire by Badger - the ones used in the airbrush class...

Did you buy the whole box? Ken said he wasn't selling them individually, I tried.

Re: What'd you get at Resintopia?
Yes, it was a pretty good deal for the amount of paint you got, and I'm a sucker for a good deal. My son hadn't airbrushed in 2 years, and had very good luck with them in the class. That's his wallhanger on the table - not everything there is mine! Wish we had name tags so I could have met more people from here (like you!)lexesbenz wrote:Did you buy the whole box?
