G-Fest 2006 model show photos

#1 Post by Hobby_Dude »

Hey Kaiju fans!

I’m just now getting a chance to post some pictures from G-Fest XIII which was held last weekend in Chicago. Most of these are from the model contest. I also have some pictures of Bill Gudmundson’s amazing models as well as Mike Wallace’s awesome Kaiju dioramas. These two guys – along with Stan Hyde gave some great presentations on model building, painting, dioramas and sculpting.

Sorry, some of the pictures came out kind of fuzzy. I was in a hurry because I waited too late to get pictures and many people were packing up their kits at the end of the show.

Anyway,

Enoy!

Hey Steve,

Yep, there is a website for G-Fest. Here it is:
http://www.g-fan.com/

Then go to the G-Fest page.

G-Fest is a very family oriented show. Lots of things for children to do but adults can still do their thing as well. I think most anyone would enjoy it.

ARGH! I pulled mine out of there before you got your shots! Luckily though a buddy took some, along with John getting a picture of it!

Very nice my man. You can't go wrong with those Billiken kits. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your Kaiju models next year.

Thank you! I love the Billikens. I wish they would do a kit for every suit, as they are affordable and they look really good. But I am hoping to have one of all the G Billikens before next year.
