In Tom and Ray, I celebrate a truly remarkable friendship and a life truly well lived. May we all, in Ray's memory, make a conscious endeavor to be such a giving and loving friend to others, for we are measured not by how we love, but how we are loved by others (Oz to the Tin Man). Then, and only then, may we be worthy and deserving of a friend like Tom.

[I am a lawyer, Tom, so don't hesitate to call me if you need anything (gratis) and let me know how the money situation is and if you need anything.][/quote]
Hey Ed, what you are saying makes quite a bit of sense to me. While I'm not happy about what happened, it is now the time to celebrate Ray's body of work. Something that I am very happy to do. Thanks for your offer. I appreciate it very much. Same goes to all you guys. Thanks!

I recall how helpful Ray was when I was asking (badgering) him about e bay selling. He always took the time to answer each question in depth
Great guy who I am proud to have known
See you "next time" my friend. May GOD be with his family and friends

Re: R. L. Heikes R.I.P.
I guess I never said, but Ray literally had no family. He was raised by his mom, dad, and grandma. He was an only child. No one, I checked. Another reason I was such a big part of his life. He was awkward around kids. But every year for the past 4-5 we had him over on X-mas to watch Doctor Who. He loved that he helped spawn a new generation of Whovians.
My girls liked Ray a lot. But my youngest (6) seemed to understand what he really meant to me. The day he passed she made me this card in school...https://scontent-b-iad.xx.fbcdn.net/hph ... 3759_n.jpg

sorry bro... I'm just proud because she is the embodiment of what Ray tried to inspire. A new generation with a healthy respect for the classics.

Rare indeed are those words that can make you both smile and weep.
Out of the mouths of babes.
Thanks for sharing and continuing to share in a time that must be so hard for you Tom.
I hope everything is progressing as well as these things can. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
