Rest in peace BEN LUNDY, a.k.a. SeptimusPretorius

#1 Post by Todd P. »

Word of Ben's passing is spreading on Facebook. I didn't know him well but I enjoyed our interactions and he was a good Escape Hatch customer.

Thanks for letting us know Todd - much appreciated.

Ben wasn't a high-volume poster here - especially over the last 4 years - but he has always been encouraging & friendly, and soooooo polite & respectful.

Another fella gone WAY too young (he was only 56) - http://theclubhouse1.net/phpBB3/memberl ... le&u=15596

Condolences to his family & friends.

I'm sad to hear of Ben's passing. In seeing the pic of his avatar, I remember him to always have been kind and encouraging to all here. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

It is getting harder for me to process these young men passing from our hobby. I am 70 and can look back to the very roots of this hobby with Aurora resin recasts, and the first Billiken kits, and remember all the young guys just getting into the hobby and now watching them fade when they should be burning brightest.
So sad, so really sad.
