Monster Scenes-ish Invisible Man

#1 Post by tay666 »

Just got my reissued kit from Molemento Pete today.
This thing is so kewl.
I could have sworn we had a thread for this kit here, but I guess not.

For those not familiar, check this page on my site.

Hope to get a chance to shoot a few pics of my kit this weekend.

Don't think he is a member here.
He is a member on HobbyTalk and his email is molemento@aol.com

Don't know.
I do know he is supposed to be reissuing the Bride of Dracula, and finally releasing the Scream Queen.

I finally took pics of the kit the other night. Now I just have to get them up and post them here.

Trevor thanks, I e-mailed him and hope he still has 2 left. Here are the photos of my original one which are in the Model Museum.

Nice job.
I wish I could afford a second one. That way I could build one complete, and the other with some invisible parts.

I hope you get your 2 kits, I.M., but let's hope he's almost sold out of them. There was a big cry for these for a long time and he finally caved and reissued them again. I, for one, was estatic he announced the reissue and even more excited that I got one early on.
I'm so looking forward to the S.Q. and B.of D....plus the "mystery" kit! :D

Well, mine was 17 of 50.
Not sure if he is selling them in order though.

The original issue came with the smaller table (single post) and a book . . . a fun kit! I wish he'd issue his kits in larger numbers. Most of the time I've wanted one they've been "sold out." Oh, well . . .

That's the funny thing about this hobby; Ya never know what will sell.
I'm just happy he reissued it, period. Not sure about getting a second kit but that's not a bad idea.

These are now under the "Sceners" name and not Monster Scenes or Monster Scenes Limited.

Yeah, that is why I used Monster Scenes-ish in the thread title.
Lets people not in the know, know what I am talking about.
At the same time I tried to not step on Dencomm's TM by making it clear that this isn't officially part of the line.

Actually took me a while to figure out exactly how I would title the thread before I started it.

Wonder if he is selling them in reverse order.
If so, that would mean there are only 14 left.

I have a section in "New Stuff" for this kit and the other "Sceners" Kits now being offered.
And yes it appears the long awaited "Scream Queen".. is "coming soon"
