Thanks for the comments, they are greatly appreciated!

Looks like this piece had some history - I recall Gordy Dutt (I bought it from him at WF) mentioned the head was by Terry Reynolds and the body was added by Joe Simon. There is a torn arm included, but I misplaced him  .

Speaking of rough - it developed leaking in one fold, have to keep an eye on this .....

This piece cries "Diorama" - You're all right - I would love to do one, but I haven't find a fitting Sheepskin Karloff Monster yet. Needful Thing has one, but it is a bit too small. I thought about to get me a Horizon Frank - but these are expensive.

If anyone has a Sideshow 12" figure of the "Son of F..." I would love to get one of these.

Thanks again,
Rainer E.

I'm reviving this old thread because I just scored one of these from a Clubhouse member who had it on e-bay. The seller listed it as being close to 1/5 scale, but I'm hoping that this will fit in well with the Yagher SOY kit, which is large for a 1/6th figure. Does anyone have a good idea of the scale between these two?
Scored Al Reborio's Lurch and It. Thanks to Joe "The Coop"

It is tall and disproportionate to be a 1:5 scale kit. At the time I retooled it (adding buttons and stars) it was too big to look good with the Horizon Frankenstein kit or RFTG Ygor kits, which I was hoping to use it with. Hope that helps.

Thanks Fritz, I guess I'll just have to put the two together when it gets here as I think the SOY kit was a bit bigger than the Horizon Frank. BTW I think this one is one that resulted from your efforts as the buttons and stars are well done and the casting appears to be very clean.

Lionel Atwill deserves to be the subject of many more kits. Was there ever one from the Mystery of the Wax Museum?

Not that I've ever seen; I LOVE that movie much more than the fifties remake and would jump on a chance to get an Atwill figure from it (and Peter Lorre from Mad Love as well).

More Lionel Atwill!!!

I just received the kit today and I can tell you that the scale is almost perfect for the Son Of Yagher kit.
If you have a SOY kit run across one of these I highly recommend that you grab it.

I going to try to sculpt a Peter character, holding the Monster's hand, to go with the pair.
The Inspectors arm is really close to fitting into the Monster's right hand. It should be pretty easy to
make it fit.
