AMT Mr. Spock - Live long and prosper!

#1 Post by Gitd2004 »

Howdy Folks,

The death of a celebrity seldom hit me so hard like the death of Leonard Nimoy last week. I cried.
It felt like loosing a friend, a role model or just the coolest alien that ever walked on the face of the earth.

Finally, after 20 years in storage, I picked the AMT kit from the attic and finally finished it as a tribute to
the late Leonard Nimoy: Live long and prosper!

Thanks for looking!

A GREAT tribute to the most iconic character of the scifi universe !
And, for sure one the best job (subtle shading and "soft" paintjob) I have never seen on this kit !
Congratulations. =D>

Excellent job Rainer! While I may not be a big fan of Star Trek as some, I too found myself deeply saddened by Leonard's death. He was a true icon, who didn't know of Spock?
