How about a big "THANK YOU?"

#1 Post by XOFACTO2 »

Let's just take a moment to say "Thank You" to Dave Hodge and the rest of the Wonderfest crew for putting on another fantastic show. Although not often mentioned, your hard work putting the show together is very much appreciated. So this long time modeler would just like to say...

THANK YOU!!!

:D

I'll drink to that!

Honestly though, the whole crew works hard and always puts on a great event for all of us to enjoy. And not just during the show, but all the prep that goes into it all year round.
But especially during the show, they are working hard while we are having fun.
So thanks to each and every one of you.

I cannot begin to fathom the amount of coordination and work that goes into WonderFest. I live 5 miles from where some of the hobbies major NJ shows are offered, and have attended each of them in the past - I can honestly say that Wonderfest is by far the best. The size of the show, the content of the presentations, the classes, and most of all, the people from all walks of life that attend the show make it a spectacle that should not be missed.

Now how about having the show every six months? :D

Thanks to all who make this happen...

Had an absolutely GREAT time at Wonderfest. Lots of fun catching up with Scott Kelly, Matt (Sparky) Lawrence, Terry Webb, Robb, Charlie from Forbidden Zone, Cortlandt Hull, Bill Diamond, among others, and (finally!) met John Tucky. Modelers are fine folks; the world could use a lot more of 'em! Lots of new resin to be seen plus an absolutely amazing model contest! And I still had enough money left to pay for gas on the way home!
Congratulations to all involved on a show very well done!

Having been part of the committee that put together the 2013 IPMS Nats in Colorado, I can't imagine doing a show like WF consistently year after year. The logistics alone make my head hurt!

The WF crew is a dedicated bunch and the results speak for themselves. Even the fire drill went off without a hitch!

Well Done! Take a few weeks off and start planning for next year!

As always Dave and the crew rolled out the red carpet for all of us model freaks and gave us another weekend to remember. All hail the awesomeness that is WonderFest.

I was happy to see Merits come back, and the new lead-glass Bronze awards are very classy!
