Twisty - Mark Van Tine sculpt

#1 Post by Richard Cacioppo »

Hi had a blast doing ... It's good to be mad ... It's Mark Van Tine's wonderful sculpt of Twisty the clown. What's funniest, is that I've been naming all of the files as "Krusty the Klown" That's the clown from The Simpson ... Here's some images from my page, on my site ...

If you'd like to see all of the images and some close ups of Twisty come on over to my site and check him out.

Hope you enjoy

Woah! That's creepy - in a good way. Excellent paint-up.

Creepy ... That's a mild word for Twisty. I gave myself a bunch of reference material to work with, I wanted to simulate that smeared on make-up and blood, and his manic look. I'm so glad you've latched onto these thoughts overall.

Thanks for commenting. I love sharing ... I'm already dug deep into another project, can't say what it is, it's a show secret ... But I can say it's got something to do with models, a bunch of them, and a continuation of another tale I wrote and showed at another show, vague right ... Thanks again so much for your kind words.

Man that's creepy, really love the third pic. Nicely done.

Thanks so much for all these super comments ... Loved doing this piece. I've been working on a very large scratch built at present and for weeks now. I haven't frequented our site for a bit, have to spend some time catching up, and checking out all the awesome work here. I've also been reviewing other sculptors site, from our Dealers Index, some great new stuff for me. I'm branching out, other than Geo work, I spent a lot of time, trying to paint up all of that's on my site for sales. But with all the work from other places out there ... Painting myself into a corner, just wasn't fare to me. Love all of the talent out there ... Not that I'll stop the Geo goal, just want to add other awesome stuff to my body of work. Thanks all for sharing, it's the best here ...
