Yeah, that one is quite the ear-worm.
That was one of the first groups my son got into all on his own, waaay back when.

For me today, it was the Moody Blues - Nights in White Satin.

Something different for me.
Heard it on the radio on the way home, and I had it cranked.

Rage Against The Machine: Know Your Enemy

I didn't really get into these guys when they were hot. I was kind of out of the music loop in the early 90's. Grunge ruled the radio and I wasn't interested, so I stuck to classic rock stations.

Never heard of them before, but I like what I am hearing.
Also, normally, I don't care for keyboards in hard rock tunes, but it really 'fits' with these guys.

No worries Pat - that's what we're here for my friend.

Seems I veer from one style of metal to another - driven by those research-monsters called BW&BK (bless their little cotton socks).

Chris Holmes of WASP fame released his 2nd solo album “S hitting Bricks” May this year.

The vocals & music come over as a sort of “matter transporter merging” of Lemmy, Fred Turner and Randy Bachman.

He looks like he’s straight out of the local Angels chapter (complete with missing teeth!) - GOTTA admire that (even if he does live in Cannes).

Cheesy 80’s lyrics at their best complete the picture.

The videos are best watched from the back of the monitor (no - seriously - DON'T watch them! ), but I actually LIKE the songs (way better than anything WASP did anyways).

I know there are some Lzzy Hale fans here and probably some Alice fans too, I figured this might be of some interest. Lzzy with The Hollywood Vampires which is a band cover band Alice has put together.

And another track from the upcoming Leppard album - "Dangerous".

REALLY like this - and LOVE the fact that we have yet another NWOBHM band proving they STILL have it. Great hooks, catchy, "up" - what's not to like.

Awesome stuff.

I don't really care for this cover, but I figured I'd better post it for Ian anyway.

Thanks Trev - saw that up on BW&BK earlier today but didn't get chance to listen.

Not a fan either - but DO love it whenever Lzzy's voice kicks in (* 2 weeks until the Vancouver gig! *)

For a better cover (minus the Stone Sour wimpiness) - try this on for size - Joanna Dean from 1988.

Looks like a lot of you guys are into metal. This is from a new album I've been listening to a lot from a new Australian prog metal group called Teramaze.
