"Beware the Moon" Yagher's Jack Goodman AWWIL

#1 Post by saulcuba66 »

1981 was the year for Werewolves but one stood out that stamped special effects and make up artist Rick Baker into movie history. The film in question is none other than the now classic "An American Werewolf in London".
One memorable character that stood out was that of Jack Goodman played by actor Griffin Dunne. His first appearance was a shocker for the time as the make up was as realistic as can be and one can see the decaying stages throughout the film. Rick Baker at his best.
To honor "Jack Goodman" i hired The likeness master, sculptor Jeff Yagher.
Jeff captured The actors likeness perfectly with his make up on and torn jacket. The detail is insane which makes this a perfect palette for the painter.
The bust is 1/4 scale, 2 part solid resin and stands 7 1/2 inches tall from top of head to bottom of base.
The base was sculpted by me and the name plates were done by the talented Mark Kaelin.
Check out the new kit section for availability.
Thanks for looking,
Saul

Damn - probably should have posted this in THIS thread rather than the "for sale" thread  (so I will) :D

Likeness is 100% SPOT-ON - could NOT be better - AWESOME job Jeff

The base & nameplate are perfect compliments too :thumb2:

. . . and that paintwork - in a week where I've seen a slew of incredible work, this joins the fray. Beautiful (if that's the right word?)

Wonderful work Saul (as always!) =D> =D> =D>

Magnificent! The effects you've created are wonderful. The painting on the back is superb.
