Moebius Penguin

#1 Post by Glusniffer »

Had a blast from the past with this one! Very well mastered kit with a great likeness of ol Burgess. 1st off I lost the cigarette part so I had to make one and it looks like a big spliff... Oh well. The little penguin wasn't very convincing to me so I made a bomb out of it (cuz Penguin likes to blow stuff up) and found another at Hobby Lobby. The penguin gas is a clear green sprue from the Green Lantern kit melted and streched over a candle. The sprue was only about 2 inches long so there was no margin for error. Yay! I also added a little talcum powder to the tuxedo paint to give it texture. Wuaaack! :penguin:

Yeah, that's the one. Sadly, I didn't get any great pix of it, but here are 2 that I did get.

Excellent job on the Penguin.
Odd, despite being a huge fan of the show as a kid. I have no real urge to build them. Prolly when they are OOP I'll be jonsing to find them.
