After finishing the Cyclops, I wanted to do a bust for variation and I picked one of the oldest ones I had...The Coachman, sculpted by William Basso of Eldritch Design. This has been out of production for years and I picked it up as soon as it came out along with The Warlord bust. They are definitely not just kits but pieces of art in my opinion.
Anyway, I hope to do a good job and I will be posting WIP photos here and on Facebook. And if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me....
Coachman primed and ready for paint. I decided to assemble his left arm because I didn't want to deal with glueing and putting after I started painting. Besides I didn't think it would get in the way of painting his face... but I have to hold on his right arm because it touches his body... I'm excited to paint but a bit worried I'll screw up.... we will find out soon enough
Mixed a skin tone, added green and more burnt sienna for a greenish dead skin tone and sprayed for the base color (it actually looks darker in person).... Now I'm not sure if I will add a wash/glaze to make it darker and start to add highlights, or add highlights and add a wash after I detail the skin?... Decisions, decisions...
Photobucket was already pissing me off with all the pop up ads and how slow it was. Now they made it worse by just blocking all the photos I have. I'm dropping them completely and go somewhere else. There are a lot of great image hosting sites out there.

Trevor just added a REALLY cool tool where you can kiss Photo Bucket goodbye and upload your pictures directly to your post...just click on the little blue square that has a white "P" in it directly under the text reply box (it says "Add image to post" in blue letters right next to the blue button).
