Dracula bust

#1 Post by bed172 »

Just finished this little bust by Randy Lambert. It's 1/6th scale. Great likeness and super cheap price. It's painted with acrylics. An exercise for me in painting in gray scale and with directional lighting.

Very nice indeed. I really like the picture it's mounted on. I would guess that is all your own creation? It sets off the bust nicely.

It's mounted on a 3x3 piece of basswood that is also painted with acrylics. The little easel came from hobby lobby.

I bought the set of them both too. I bought a second set after I received the first. And at only $10 for the set of two who wouldn't want two or three sets! They are very well sculpted. The likeness to Lugosi is particularly good. I started the Frankenstein a couple of nights ago. He'll be in gray scale too.
