The Funhouse “Gunther”

#1 Post by saulcuba66 »

"Who will dare to face the challenge of The Funhouse? Who is mad enough to enter that world of darkness?
How about you? "

The 1981 film "The Funhouse"directed by Tobe Hooper who also directed Texas chainsaw massacre has become a cult classic most famously for the Monster in the film Gunther.
To honor this hideous beauty, once again the incredibly talented all around artist Mark Van Tine captured a perfect likeness to the character leaving no detail behind.
Paul Gill of Gillman Productions once again took the task of molding and casting but this time with a twist. Paul and Mark decided to offer two options to this 1/4 scale resin bust, one without hair and another with sculpted hair. This gives the collector the option to add hair for a natural look.
The castings were near perfect.
As of this writing Mark just finished sculpting the base which compliments it perfectly. I'm looking forward adding the base soon.
For now i made a temporary base with a name plate for pics.
A short tutorial on hairing and paints will come soon.
More pics to follow...........

WOW! Sensational! Super creepy - in a good way. Another incredible paint-up from The Master.
