I noticed that when it all came together. Both are supposed to be 1/35 but there is obviously something not quite right.
It's not that I think stupidity should be punishable by death.
I just think we should take the warning labels off of everything and let the problem take care of itself.
Ah, just put a bandaid on your eyes and get it done. I work with a lot with 1/35 and it sure ain't like working with 1/6! It does tax old eyes if you're an old guy like me. I'm working in 1/35 now and can tell I need stronger glasses...again.
Looks like you've done a good job of it! A Terminator Endoskeleton on a bike coming at me would scare me dead on the spot!
I use Opti-visors for nearly everything any more, but if you're not up to that, most drugstores have "readers" where you can get a 1.5X - 2X - 3X and I think even 4X lenses, and they look like regular glasses. I used the 2X for the longest I until I needed glasses for real... HTH

I just bought these about a month ago. When I work with them on, I am having trouble with depth perception and going in/out of focus. So I wear them in spurts of time but still rely for the most part on just taking off my glasses.

Gotcha. What I do is sit my glasses at the end of my nose and look thru the visors. Only when I need a temporary boost in mag do I look thru both.
Occasionally, I have a problem with dark colors. If I have black on a model and it needs more, I have trouble once is a while telling where the brush tip is - the two blacks blend together. But it only happens on really dark colors.
Sorry, din't mean to hijack the thread into a vision topic...
When I started sculpting, it was only in 1/35, so I feel your pain.
Regarding magnification, for the most part, less is more. The high the mag doesn't necessarily mean better results and you end up with more focal length issues.
After trying a few options over the years, including the OptiVisor, I've come to the conclusion it's not an area to skimp on. There are so many cheap options out there, but you may be setting yourself up for some hurt. I ponied up for a Zeiss headloupe about 6 or 7 years ago and haven't looked back. It's pricey, but no more issues with headaches, blurriness, etc. It wasn't that expensive IIRC, certainly less than most kits we end buying and if you plan on working small for great lengths of time, it's well worth it.
