"Saw" that moment - wondered if there was a connection to a Ghost Rider villain - googled - bingo! (but a total "WOW/cool!" moment for me!)
Totally went over my head... you referring to Melvin? and what villian?
(i can only think of 'The Tinkerer' but never read GR, so it's bugging me now!!)

S03E10 - "Karen"
  • • Veers away from the main story a fair bit – but very intense again.
    • Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) is a phenomenal actress.
    • Sad (but not unexpected) loss, and a heck of a fight.

S03E11 - "Reunion"
  • • Probably the weakest of all 13 episodes – but STILL better than 95% of the stuff available these days.

S03E12 - "One Last Shot"
  • • The lass playing Vanessa is (at times) a bit of a weak link (acting wise).
    • AGAIN with the mega-manipulation by Fisk !!!!!

S03E13 - "A New Napkin"
  • • Great fight scene at the end – nicely done!
    • Did think things wrapped up a little too easily though.
    • I really appreciated the phrase "The FBI is getting an enema" AND "To see the possibilities of being a man - without fear" . . . (nice!)

Thoroughly enjoyed this season.

I think I’d give it the edge over Season 2, because it was SO intense, AND because although there was no Frank Castle, I’m SO done with Ninja’s and was glad they were nowhere to be seen this time :)

High quality work by all. Stunning.     =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

PS: Given the prison scene in E04 - doesn't the entire Albanian crime syndicate now know Matt is Daredevil? PPS: Liked the "Special Thanks" acknowledgements to Gene Colan et al. at the end of every episode. Classy.

Daredevil is going the way of the Punisher for me. No human can take the bloody abuse to their heads that Daredevil takes, without leaving them a permanent basket case, with broken teeth galore.

Finished. Not sure I liked how quickly Kingpin gave up!?!
Thoughts of the great Miller pages kept going thru my mind.

The Dex eyeballs ending kinda had me rolling my eyes. But
hearing the Dr. Oyama name was kinda cool!

Overall, good job and a fun season to watch. Let's hope we
don't hear its cancelled in the next few days!

What a phenomenal season. Loved it.

I don't think I've ever hated Disney as much as I do these days . . .

"Netflix" cancels Daredevil after three seasons.

Yeah. I read about it the other day.
Not surprising, but also not cool at all.

As my Irish pal Paul would say - this is shyte !

The Defenders can’t appear on TV or film for at least two years . . .

    • "Recently, Netflix purged itself of three Marvel shows, canceling Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Daredevil all within a couple weeks of one-another.
While Jessica Jones is likely living on borrowed time, it was widely assumed that Disney was shoring up these properties before the launch of its own streaming service next year, Disney+

However, Variety reports that due to a clause in the contract between Disney and Netflix, the characters won’t be able to appear onscreen anywhere for at least two years after the
cancellation, and that’s if Disney decides to do so, which it hasn’t yet."

That in and of itself doesn't bother me.
While I enjoyed the season of the Defenders, I don't care that much about it.
It's not like it's the Defenders I grew up with.

The lack of more Daredevil does piss me off though.

Given how Disney are behaving with THESE characters, can you imagine what they'd be doing if NETFLIX had rights to The Hulk, Dr. Strange and the Sub-Mariner

I finally had a chance to watch the season this week.
Finished it Friday night.
It was totally amazing, just as expected.
So sad it is over for good :(

So much awesomeness that I can't think of any one thing that really stood out.
I was slightly annoyed at the way they followed the usual script though.
Make things bad, give us hope that things will get better, make things even worse and dash all hopes, then pull a win out in the last episode.
All 3 seasons followed the same exact formula. Granted with different methods, but still the same script.

Bullseye was amazing though. Everything I remember the character being back in the good old days reading the Miller Daredevlis.
They really fleshed out Kingpin this time around too. Showing just what a patient mastermind he really is.

Looks like there is a chance that the Netflix actors will be getting a chance to play these characters again.

Not sure how I feel about them rebooting them.
Just let them be the characters and leave what happened on Netflix alone.

Agreed.

I'm glad the actors could be getting further work, but given who they'll be "reporting" to, anything created will likely be a pale shadow of what Netflix accomplished.

Disney can stick their version of Marvel where the sun don't shine as far as I'm concerned - the people in control are lying, disingenuous, pieces of human trash.

But on a more positive note - we've still got the Netflix stuff to watch as many times as we want - yay! :)
