Industria Mechanika "Waldo"

#1 Post by KathyD »

Boat was finished a while ago, just done the base so thought I'd put a few photos up. OK, one thing missing, deckhand with a mop, meant to be on the jetty but currently 100 miles away - which is what happens when you forget to check corners of boxes during transport.

Beautiful, ultra-detailed kit - detail in the cabin is hard to see but its visible if you get the angle right, and I left some grilles off so you can (in theory) see through to the engine

This was my first experience of photo-etch, and while it was difficult for me, I think it was worth it...

Excellent! The aged and weathered finishes look so realistic. Beautiful work on the base as well.
