Well, a long 2+ months and I’ve still got till at least the first of June before my job reopens. It's at least been enjoyable to spend lots of time in my workshop. What’s been a hell for most folks has been a boon for us hobby types. I’ve made progress on several projects. Hope to get a few more completed by June.


90mm Superior miniatures Dallas Cowboys cheerleader- A metal kit that's been in my stash for 30 years . I guess I’ve just held the fact that I’m not a Dallas Cowboys fan against her. The unbuilt kit had several sale offerings here and on EBAY but no takers. She's built stock and put on a custom grass base. I don’t know, maybe one more go round on EBAY.


1/8 scale Marvel Black Panther- About 95% done. On a custom base. Still need to add some detail colors on this one. But “no can do” until the local Hobby Lobby store reopens allowing me the access to the paint color i need.


1/8 Avengers movie Black Widow- She’e done but I’m planning to fabricate another custom base for her. The kit has her rendered with waaay more bottom than the real Ms. Scarlett J, but I for one am OK with that . I was able to lengthen the waist behind her belt a little bit to help correct the overall body proportions. The finely reproduced weave of her costume material make modifications to the body contours a real challenge to pull of successfully.


1/8 scale Xmen movie Storm- Halle Berry has always been one of my favorite stars so this conversion was an enjoyable effort. The lighting bolts were planned to be illuminated by flashing LED lights, but early experiments failed to produce enough light in them, so I nixed that feature. So, she's half way finished now.

Well for now... back to the 'shop!
