I've had these two original Aurora kits since the early 90s, but while Ilya was unbuilt Napoleon was a broken-down completed kit. Took lots of TLC to strip it and restore it, and now they're finally done.
Painted with Golden Fluid Acrylics.

Not really subject matter that interests me, but the paint work is phenomenal.
I love all the shading, and the contrasting colors on the bases.
Just beautiful.

Me too! I’d get a set for my brother. PL re-popped the Bond kits so I don’t know why they didn’t do these.
