I was always more partial to 'Send Me An Angel', 'Winds of Change' and of course 'Tease Me, Please Me' gets honorable mention. It's got some nice crunchy guitars, and a great hook, but man is it repetative.
It was so-so compared to the previous 5 AWESOME studio albums (Lovedrive, Animal Magnetism, Blackout, Love At First Sting, Savage Amusement) - they were all 10/10 for me & mine.

I was disappointed with THIS one, but it still has a few good tracks. I know it didn't go down that well at home because we didn't bother on the tour which hit Birmingham NEC Jan 1991 (Winger supporting). Us missing a local Scorpions gig was UNHEARD OF back then.

This was the start of a long descent into mediocrity, repetitiveness & crap after Francis, Herman & Dieter left. Came back on form later though :)

The tracks you mention are the best known from the album - but I much prefer the track I linked.

FORTY YEARS since the release of this - the studio album that defined Motörhead and brought them into the mainstream - "Ace Of Spades".

It's impossible to explain how much this and its predecessor (1979's "Bomber") influenced my life choices and my tastes in music.

The days of bullet-belts, studded leather, cowboy boots, tattered jeans, hair down to my waist, with a belief that people OTHER than rock fans were pussies with no taste. A tribe that had brothers-in-arms across the globe - a tribe that has grown stronger as the years have rolled by. Heavy rock RULES - period.

My appearance was modelled by bands like this, was in total conflict with my career path - and I didn't care one bit (even if some clients did!) My music was my saviour & my support throughout so many testing years, and I am truly grateful that I've never been one of those "trendy" "pop-fan" types.

Ian Fraser Kilmister (Lemmy), Edward Allan Clarke (Fast Eddie), Philip John Taylor (Philthy Animal) . . . these guys were gods to me . . . especially Lemmy - the epitome of cool.

Sadly missed, but always fondly remembered. Forty effin' years - OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank-you guys!

Too bad the title track is the only one that gets any play from this album.

Can always use more ROAD CREW and BITE THE BULLET

"(We Are) The Road Crew" is my 2nd-fave on the album, we then move on to "The Chase Is Better Than The Catch", and then to "Shoot You In The Back", "Bite The Bullet", "Jailbait" and "The Hammer".

Awesome album - but I have no problem saying that there are tracks on later albums that blow this out of the water.

Once again - I LOVE this band.

3rd track from the new album - out in just 3 (and a bit) days (Fri 13th Nov 2020).

It was uploaded about 3 weeks back but for some strange reason (premature senility?) I've only just got off my backside to post it here.

If the 3 tracks they've shared so far are any indication - this wee bugger is gonna be the album of the year for me.

I aim this track in the general direction of all those a$$hole politicians and mainstream "news" corporations that continue to make matters worse.

First track from the upcoming THUNDER release - their 13th studio album - due March 12th 2021.

Tie your feet to the chair legs or the neighbours downstairs will be complaining about the foot-tapping (a jolly infectious beat it has lads!)

It's a good job Jimmy Page gets on with the boys or he might be tempted to go to court over part of the riff (but then again - he's probably had enough of the legal system to last a lifetime  :P )

A nice little lyrical dig at the morons in the UK & Europe that caused trouble & chaos - this time regarding Brexit - so - ONCE AGAIN - I aim this track in the general direction of all those a$$hole politicians and mainstream "news" corporations that continue to make matters worse.

Album was out yesterday - and OH MY GOD LEMMY . . .

THIS track came as a total (and VERY pleasant) surprise - last on the album, dark lyrics - but that music (wow) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"postimg" seems to be down at the moment, so I'll add an appropriate pic when it's back up.

For now - SOAK THIS WEE BUGGER up!
              • The darkness comes in waves
                It washes over me
I find it hard to breathe
                I'm struggling for air
                The darkness covers me
                Fills me with despair
                Should I just disappear?

Ooooooo!
That does sound good!

Papa Roach just dropped a remaster (with new video) for The Ending
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8YfBIX8qvU

And it kicks!

The only problem is, bouncing back and forth between this, and the original, I can't really put my finger on a real difference in the mixes.
So, does it just seem better because the video is cooler?

Here's the original

Oh my!
I just found out Pretty Reckless dropped a new one yesterday.

It is so good.
Haunting and gritty at the same time.
This going to get a lot of replays for the next week or so.

Not a fan of the "Papa Roach" song - my Son & I have gradually come to the conclusion that we only like a very limited subset of their material - although those likes are scattered throughout their career.

As regards the "Pretty Reckless" track . . . I hadn't got a clue what the lyrics meant or the story they were supposed to convey, but I enjoyed it, and will listen again. It sounded perfect for a Bond movie - and was certainly WAY better than anything since the 1989 "Licence To Kill" title-track that Gladys Knight sang.

Dee Snider and Lzzy Hale just released a duet together of a song Dee wrote for his wife years ago: "The Magic of Christmas Day"

https://www.kshe95.com/real-rock-news/l ... stmas-day/

Nice vocals by Lzzy - tjis song was given to Celine Dion who released it in 1998 and was one of her best selling Christams songs. Not everybody"s cup of tea but showcases Lzzy's vocals, Dee's weren't shabby either!

Same here - would fit right in for a Bond opening. I couldn't figure the lyrics either - the great vocals made up for it!
