My Completed Kits of 2020

#1 Post by sivousplay »

While 2020 was a difficult year for us all, staying at home for months on end did make it a very productive year from my painting table. Here's a shot or two of each of the pieces I was able to complete this year.

I hope you like the pics and I wish you all a safe, happy, and productive 2021!

Wow Jim! Now that's what I call productive!! Fascinating pieces done with great skill and an eye for color and texture. I couldn't imagine any of them looking better.

You had a phenomenal year, painting wise.

WOW! An exceptional collection of work for the year, and such a variety of subjects! Incredible work.
I'm off to your site to see some more pics of a couple of these kits. (I can't find the last one - the Space Girl - where can I find her please?)
Thanks for showing them and giving us some inspiration. :-D

Thank you for all the kind words. I tried to paint a varied collection this year ... didn't want people thinking the only thing I could paint was scantily clad females! :)

I'm holding off on posting any more pics of the Duchess (Space Girl) until after an online competition that I want to enter her in on FB has been held. So, for now, only the sneak peak here. Sorry!

Ahhh, I see. From what I can see she looks spectacular, and I can't wait to see the full kit. I wish you the best of luck :-D

Also, can you please tell me the name of the kit of the girl with the baby face mask and the two headed scythe-thingy? And, of course, where did you get it? Thanks :-)

Sadly, she was a very limited run and is out of production. She's called The Nurse and was produced by Thirdman Studios which is now defunct. So, you're only hope would be to find one second hand. I believe there were only 20 or so made.

Good luck.

Ahh, thanks for that info. You always seem to be able to pick up really interesting kits. I envy you. Then again, I look at my own 'thinking cupboard and I can only imagine what your 'stack' of kits is like - probably more like an Amazon warehouse, lol.

Also, when is the competition? TC and I are eager to see your completed 'Dutchess' kit ;-)

I probably have at least 100+ kits waiting to be painted.

About the competition ... it was supposed to held over Christmas and then was delayed for an undetermined amount of time.

Those are beautiful. I wouldn’t want to go up against you in competition, unless I can pick your brain of course!
