Le Soliel Royal

#1 Post by Zephyr »

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this but it is a plastic kit.
My husband TC (Ta Chang) has spent a few months painting and assembling. He will do the rigging next, so enjoy her naked.

Wow!
That is a ton of detail, and so well done.

Wishing him good luck on the rigging.
I remember doing some way back in the early 80's. Got a pretty good buzz gluing all that string together.

Wow - lotta detail for sure!!! I'm looking forward to seeing it fully rigged.
Rigging always scared me away from doing sailing ships and old biplanes too!

Now that is some awesome detail. Actually looks like wood, nice color choices.

What brand of gold paint did he use? I can never find one that covers evenly.
