This commission was based on a digitally sculpted 3D printed partial figure kit. Originally the bottom of the figure ended just above her knees & fit into a fancy logo base.
The rest of the legs & armor were sculpted traditionally to make a full figure & then painted. The customer provided a simple base & pewter logo pin to complete the project.
The 2nd to last photo shows some work in progress views & the last photo shows the kit parts as originally designed.
I don't usually pop into this area, but I am glad I did today.
The paint on this is amazing. The skin tones are perfect. As well as the look of her make up.
The paint on the costume is so clean and well defined with beautiful shading.
And the sculpting of the rest of the legs is seamless and perfectly done.
I am sure your customer is extremely pleased with the results.
Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?

I don't know who the digital artist was, but whoever it was really captured Gal Gadot's look. When the sculpture is that good, then painting really enhances the resemblance.
This figure needed to be shipped from the west coast all the way to the east coast, fortunately everything arrived safely.
MASTERFUL job of sculpting the lower legs and armor. No one would EVER be able to tell it wasn't made like that.
Master paint jobs like this one (and that Arnold bust from "Predator") make me glad I am not into painting human figures, as I'd look at work like this and consider giving up the Hobby.
