Hah, well, I still have not received the KBOP , so that’s a non-starter.

Kathoga is very high on the to do list, but first project is to change the head on my taun-taun dragon.
And you directly contributed to that decision as you rightly pointed out the current head looks a bit like that dragon from the never ending story !
So I gotta change it to be much more gnarly looking.

Hah, thanks Ian!
Well, a very good sign is that I have had it displayed for several days now and when I looked at it I DONT think “I really need to fix/change....”.

I plan to take this dragon to wonderfest , but did not want to deal with transporting the huge castle base.

So I created a new smaller base by bashing sideshow reign of fire (ROF) dragon bust base and castle tower top from Draco dragonheart model kit.

I Sculpted a wall over the reign of fire plaque on the base, and added draco tower top to inside of ROF base.

Repainted the combined bases.

Yeah transporting the big base would have been a challenge.

Nice work on the new one though!

The smaller base looks terrific. Definitely saves you a large headache.

What they said. The big base is grander, but I can appreciate the traveling constraints. Still looks awesome - and the smaller base makes the eye focus more on the dragon, so that's a plus for WF. 8)

Will you be re-mounting it onto the big base after WF is over? :D

P.S. Please provide a current update on the Klingon Bird of Prey. (Since I helped to "hook you up", I feel like I have a stake in the build  )

Hey guys, thank you for the positive feedback on the new travel base.

I am enjoying doing the bases for my bashes. I find them much easier to paint.

I will put the dragon back on the large castle base after wonderfest.
I am sure that I can find a use for the smaller base with another creature.

B-A,
I appreciate your help in acquiring and continued interest in the Klingon bird of prey as it is an awesome kit.
However, I am not sure when (or even if) I will start to build it.
It is a very intimidating and complex build as I plan to install lighting and the wing motion motor.
And I need to build the kit to make it easy to disassemble/reassemble to get it in and out of my display room.
It will take up my entire work space for a long time as I build it, and prevent me from doing any kitbashes.
I have even thought about selling it.
So that was a very long answer to basically say I don’t know yet.
