Kong of Skull Island

#1 Post by timetraveler »

Here is a diorama of Kong battling a proto-zilla type creature. It is supposed to take place many years before the arrival of the Denham expedition. Perhaps the Godzillasaurus was exiled and years later turned up on Odo Island? If so, well, you know the rest of the story.
The Kong is by Fantamation, not sure on the Godzilla. The altar is an original sculpture I made of air drying sculpey. I modified other mini figures to add details.

Super cool! Love that it is so tangled and gnarly.

Creepy, incredibly well-detailed and thought out, and well-done! Awesome concept, dynamic posing of Kong throwing punches at the Pre-Gojisaurus! :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2:

One question - how tall are the Kong & G figures?

Thank you for the very kind words. I figured this is the year of Godzilla and Kong so it was time to post this one. As regards the size of the figures, Kong is about 8 or 9 inches tall. The girl figure was about 1/48 scale.

Love it.
Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?
Lord, what fools these mortals be! -Puck
