Forgotten Prisoner in Black and White...

#1 Post by Glusniffer »

About this time last year with the Atlantis releases of the Glow boxes I grew up with I've been recollecting the old twelve Boxes and kits and painting them in black and white. No serious seam work or anything. Just scrape and paint. This my 3rd go with this one. My 2nd was from Cinemodels in 1994 which I still have. Nothing fancy as we've seen this old boner time and time again but you really see the details on a different level going grayscale. I also took the time to hand paint some serious cobwebs on the wall. As of this post I've recollected all the boxes and the kits in some form. This one is entirely the Atlantis re-pop. 8)

Ooooo!
That looks great!
I don't think I have ever seen that kit done in grayscale before.

Looks much creepier and "vintage" this way. More realistic than in color! Well-done!!! :bow: :bow: :bow: =D> =D> =D> :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2:

Thanx guys. Compliments are appreciated. Again this project began with recollecting the glow boxes but I always thought it would be cool to go b/w as most of these were colorless old movies. I remember saturday nights watching them on Creature Feature. Priz is the 4th in the collection. If you go to the gallery and do a little looking theres Godzilla, Wolfman, and the Phantom. 8)

Looks great!

One of my favorite Aurora models.
I wish they did more originals like that.

Missed this one. Nice work, Black & White painting is a talent I do not possess, what i can do is put it in the Gallery.

Very cool.
Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?
