Takes about a minute until it gets really into the groove, but watching the poseurs & "normy" crowd react to this made me smile :)

Metallica take on Elton John & Bernie Taupin's CLASSIC 1973 "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" combo of "Funeral for a Friend" / "Love Lies Bleeding" - and do a damn good job too!

The original is easily in my top 5 of Elton's tracks, and is possibly my VERY favourite  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbQoOWknSkA

That was pretty cool.

I have to admit about halfway through I thought Lars was gassed and sucking air, but then things ramped up even more and he killed it.
Guess I am just used to watching drummers that are more relaxed and seem to be having more fun behind the kit.

Another side of my eclectic music taste.
Been really enjoying one of the newer Sum 41 tracks.

This should probably have gone in the "movies" forum or the "concerts" thread - but who gives a heck

PS: Trev - did you realise that several of the "smilies" here went AWOL about a week or so ago?

And yet - we now have mayor absences of meaningful smilies on threads/posts going back 20+ years - just saying dude (* © J. Tucky 2006 *)

I know this time of year (the run-up to Wonder-infest) is hectic for you - but I would really appreciate this getting fixed when you have chance further down the line.

If you want help - you know how to get hold of me.

Not quite yet :mrgreen2:
Now that that one is fixed, are there any others? The problem isn't that I can't fix them, it's knowing what needs fixed.
The night I was adding a few more, things kind of glitched. I fixed what I knew got messed up, but I apparently missed some.

Have fun at the movie. Looks like you will have a blast.

Thanks Trev!!! BTW, can you add some more emojis to the pile? I can't think of any specific ones off the top of my head, but I know I see emojis on other sites that I wish we had here ...

As an example, here's a bunch from ModelWarships.com - the ship emojis obviously are irrelevant to us, but there are variations on the "Green Guy" as well as some of our other emojis that I think would be cool to add ... :mrgreen2:

Well - it was a match-up that is obvious once you think about it.

I defy anyone listening to this not to have a severe attack of foot-tapping-itus (no cure I'm afraid - unless you decide to listen to country or rap [don't do that kids!] ).

Great minds and all that.
I was gonna post that video too.

It is a lot of fun. I am not blown away by the song itself, but the collab is cool. The song is good, but not as good as many other EC songs.
I think I went into it with way too high hopes.
