Do you have an estimate of how many hours you spent on painting the skin ?

Yeah, probably about 30-40 hours - I used a blend of fluid and hi-flow Golden, which was thicker than regular airbrush paint, and needed to dry a bit between applications. I used a good o'l 2 aught brush to apply the scales, the rest was airbrushed. THAT didn't take as long -
