The Residence - Netflix + Ludwig - Britbox

As a fan of murder mysteries, I'm really enjoying both these series.

First, The Residence.

This is a quality show in all respects. The acting, the writing, the editing (it's superb) - it's all well above what you might see in most shows.
The premise is simple: Someone is found dead in the residence during a State dinner at the White House. That's when consulting detective Cordelia Cupp is called in.
Uzo Aduba (from Orange is the New Black) is amazing in her role as Cupp as are Randall Park, Giancarlo Esposito and every other actor. There's not a bad performance in the show.
And for fans of mysteries, each show title is a nod to a significant mystery film and the music that peppers the show is taken from other classis murder/mystery films.

Second, Ludwig.

I'm a fan of British comedy shows and mystery shows and Ludwig combines the two with David Mitchell as the crossword-setting twin of a DCI who's gone missing. The sister-in-law calls Ludwig to help find her missing husband (Ludwig's brother) and convinces him to impersonate his own brother to try to find out what happened. As he searches for his brother in each episode he also uses his puzzle-solving skills to solve the weekly murder.
