Monsters in Motion.. has quite few issues when comes to sending or having kits staues etc. months to year
in holding patteren .. I've dealt with Terry in the past and in July of this year.

Thanks for that scuzz. Are you suggesting changes to their description or if they're not good to deal with maybe even removed from the list?

Yes, MiM does have it's issues from what I have heard.
Though, lots of people have never had a problem and continually sing their praises.

But OTOH if you limit your buying to ebay, they are pretty dependable.
99.5% feedback for almost 13000 transactions.

Personally, I wouldn't get into rating dealers. Maybe add a disclaimer that you are just providing information and not vouching for anyone. And that potential buyers should do their own research.
Over the decades we have had our share of troubled merchants. Some of them were excellent right up until the point that they weren't.
People were complaining about this particular one way back in 2000 when I first discovered garage kits. Yet, they are still in business. And many people have no issues at all.

I understand your concerns scuzzy but as site administrator I'll follow Trevor's lead on this. I will reinstate MiM and add a disclaimer. I was inevitable this issue would arise and now it's been cleared away. Thanks Trev and scuzzy.

I stopped dealing with MiM years ago after they took my order, didn't fill it in a timely fashion, then ignored emails. I ultimately had to spend money to call them long distance to cancel the order. Never again. If they were the last model seller in the world I'd change hobbies before buying (or should I say, attempting to buy) from them.

Yeah. I have heard all the horror stories for many years. So my one and only dealing with them was via Ebay where I have more recourse if things went sideways. I bought one kit and got it withing a week with no drama or problems.
But if anyone wants to know more about their issues all you have to do is do a search. There has been plenty of discussion about MiM over the years here.

I'll just add that I have had no problems getting the stuff I ordered from MiM over the years (only ordered maybe 1 thing over the past 5 years, but before then I did get quite a few different items the previous 6-7 years).

The only unpleasant experience I had was receiving a "nastygram" after I cancelled my order of a small plastic model that cost maybe $65. Didn't order again from them for 4 years. FAFO.
