Burroughs 76 Kong with extended diorama base

#1 Post by Jon LeGrand »

Here is a kit I just sold and added a base extension with Tamiya Soldiers to it. I have shown this kit before when I first finished it. It is a big resin kit by Burroughs Model Works,

Spectacular Jon!

But, please don't show it to Scott Johansen!

Its a running joke on Model Club TV when Jason says how much Scott LOVES that movie. 😁

(Scott actually HATES Kong 76 and says he doesn't consider it a Kong film πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ And he's not wrong, BTW.) πŸ˜‰

Looks great. I am just now starting to develop my base making skills, so seeing your work just blows me away.
Love that one shot from down by Kong's foot looking up. That is an amazing perspective shot.

This. Those perspective shots give models the illusion of size. Not enough modelers utilize that angle. 🀩πŸ’₯πŸ”₯βš‘πŸ‘
