Creatures from Black Lagoon diorama

#1 Post by Charly »

Calling this "Courtship". Hoping it evokes spring time bright colours in the Lagoon, as two hopefuls reach for love. The big guy is the Needful Things production (Rudy Garcia) sculpt; the lovely lady is an unknown production that I picked up some years ago. The base is Mexican mesquite root.

Wow! Absolutely incredible buildup and vision! ⚑πŸ’₯πŸ’«πŸŒŸπŸ‘€πŸ‘πŸ€©πŸ”₯πŸ‘Ή

And some tantalizing out of focus views of some of the rest of your collection! What about that giant dino, and those other figure models? πŸ‘€

Is there any way we can prevail upon you to post a few pictures of those shelves for us?πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›

I agree, that's a very imaginative take on the Creature. Well executed and painted. It must be enormous considering the size of these 2 kits (24" & 18"). BTW the female kit is called "Gillianna" by Sean Kyle Burford out of Kit Kong's Model Mansion. Also, I included your first kit into the Clubhouse Gallery https://theclubhouse1.net/piwigo/pictur ... ategory/47

Hi Bucket and thanks. First photos of a build I've ever shared. The dino is Shane Foulkes' spinosaurus, version 2.

Welcome again, and if I have anything to say about it, it certainly won't be the last piece you post a picture of! We want to see a lot more!πŸ˜›

Speaking of Shane's spino I bashed the head and arms of that kit onto a running T-Rex body, about 12 years ago, and had my pal Bill Monster Jones paint it for me when we got back here 5 years ago. I will post a link to the thread so you can find it easily, after I get back home.

You have a PM BTW πŸ˜‰

Looks like the Creech is attracted to multi-colored women! I didn't know he was a flower-child at heart!

Great job!

Like any young lady (and not so young) she is in full makeup while out on the Lagoon.
