You can go to Tools-->Pop Up Blocker and add the Clubhouse as a safe site as well. Next time you get the message, cut and paste it so we can see it and let you know if it is worrisome or not.

Delete * from CLUBHOUSE
Where = "ALL THREADS";
COMMIT!
Now that was funny!
I did notice one thing today once I was able to get back on the board. When I clicked the bookmark to get to the main board, once it was back up, Norton blocked a pop-up. This has happened a few times over the last few weeks. I never look at the pop-ups, just close the warning frame. Just thought you should know in case this is new news.
Thanks John! That is one of the things we have asked them to check, albeit in a somewhat different manner. We suspect that something is drawing processing from our server and the hosting company has passed our ticket onto security. Probably just a software memory leak that a patch will cure, but good to check.
One thing to check John; the board will post a pop-up for a new PM or Thread Notification if that is one of your preferences. Since the board has been reset so many times, it may be conflicting with one of your browser settings, or a saved cookie. Try clearing the cache and cookies in your browser (I can send tips if you need, just send me the info on what browser/version you use). It may be just a notification pop-up that needs your permission to continue. Of course, as you already know, read the pop-up carefully after allowing it to open. I have this issue at my office where my cache and history is auto-set to not keep any sessions beyond 48 hours. It is usually the board trying to tell me I have a message.
Interesting. My only setting is to get an email if a new PM comes in. Not as a pop up. But maybe that’s part of it. I’ll watch for any correlation between new PM’s and pop ups.
I know how to clear the history (every male should know how to clear his history). I’m not sure how to clear the cookies. And I’m not so sure about clearing the cookies because that might interfere with auto log in on other boards (I’m not exactly sure how cookies work), which would be a pain since I can’t remember some of my passwords. Let’s see if the problem continues. If so, I will ask for your help to clear the cookies.
Browser is Internet Explorer 8. Let’s see what happens.

Tools --> Internet options --> Browsing History (delete)
You then get options about what you want to delete.
It WILL delete ALL cookies though - so if there are any passwords you are not sure about - make sure you are able to recover or reset those via your registered email address
