It was a theatric show for sure! Was worth the experience (along with them opening for Halestorm). It sure wasn't what I had expected going in! I agree with you on her voice!

I like some of their songs but their live show is kind of disturbing. :o
I wouldn't say disturbing as much as boring.

I am not saying it is bad. Obviously, lots of people love it. And it is very well done, for what it is. But for me, it is boring.
I want to see the band doing stuff too. I want audience participation. I want better theatrics.
For me, the difference between ITM and say Alice Cooper.
With Copper, the theatrics are meant to enhance the show where I feel ITM the theatrics are designed to keep attention focused on Maria (and her two dancers)

Not fussed about the dancers, but Maria is pretty easy on the eyes.

However - no way would I pay to ogle - it's that voice and the music that makes the pennies & trip worthwhile ( . . . eventually . . . hopefully).

They are touring with Disturbed at least when they come here. You could always visit St. Louis Ian!!

Been a fan of Alter Bridge since early-on.

New album - "Walk The Sky" is out Oct 18th 2019.

They have released 2 tracks so far.

First one (from June 28th) I LOVE, SECOND one (from July 25th) I ADORE !!!!!

Sounds (and looks :) ) like they are back to the highs of their 2nd album (Blackbird).

Those both sound pretty good.
Always enjoyed the group. Not a big fan, but like it when they come on the radio.

And as a reminder of times gone by (from the aformentioned 2008 "Blackbird" album), a live version of "Watch Over You" from 2013 in Manchester, UK, featuring a couple of people who sing like angels . . .

I love Lzzy Hale's voice, I love Myles Kennedy's voice, I love UK rock audiences (and I REALLY miss the UK concert scene).

Pure beauty on so many levels.

I'm so grateful my kids turned out as caring as they are - these are words I don't need to concern myself with as regards my Wife (not that I'm planning on doing an "exit stage left" just yet :) ).

My first live band.
  • The tour that pushed them into the big league (Bomber tour 1979).
    • And now commemorated with a limited edition styrene kit - released yesterday - sold out immediately - and I blimmin' missed it! (even though I checked within an hour of release).
Raw, unpolished, radiating energy & aggression, probably high on something (them not me) - and DAMN were they effin' AWESOME !!!!!!

That break at 2:05 STILL gives me chills every time I hear it.

OMG the feels from the new Papa Roach video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbZliRZBJME

This is one of the reasons I support this band, even if I don't care for some of their musical directions. They are real, and they appreciate their fans.

And this happens to be one of the songs I actually like on the new album, so that doesn't hurt either :)

So much going on in the video that you have to watch/listen twice to take it all in.

For some reason - that wasn't a problem :)

Good to see Mark appears to have a coped with his loss courtesy of the music & his friends.

Great vid/story - emotional. Thanks for sharing Trev Image

That's one of the things music is amazing at. Helping you get through things in life.

And I love how music can trigger memories. There are so many songs/albums that trigger memories of what I was doing when they were playing.

So very VERY true.

I started up a grid a while back (not finished yet), 1 row for each year, 1 column for each month, and have been adding sized pictures of album covers into the year/month they were released.

That reminds me when I picked albums up (I generally bought on release date), AND (therefore) the approx dates I went to gigs (since most tours back then were to promote new releases).

It really makes you realise how blimmin' fast life goes by that's for sure

If you want to narrow down gig dates even more, you can always see if the show is listed on Setlist FM
https://www.setlist.fm/

Invaluable resource for old concert information.
