Would have worked better if Whittaker were a completely different Time Lord altogether. She was just never the Doctor.

Sad to say I haven't cared for most of the female characters on Dr Who other than a few of the Companions and not all of them. Didn't care much for some of the male characters either for that matter.

Russell T Davies to return as Doctor Who showrunner.

Not linking any articles as most quote the original BBC article that was VERY carefully worded to not throw Chinballs & Whittaker under the bus (and made me cringe).

I haven't seen any of the 'new' episodes yet.
I'll watch them eventually, but it just became too hard for me to find a way to watch them, and I kind of lost interest.
Of course the general chatter about the quality (or lack there of) of the episodes might have played a part in that as well.

Just don't bring back all the blue LEDs....!
