FINALLY - Another Update!
First off, the recent construction of
"Trevor's Shelf"* underneath my workbench did not go without casualties (does anything ever

). While securing one of the screws underneath I accidentally knocked over the table behind me that had this Sauroposeidon bash on it (because it would have been too EASY to just move it across to a different table before getting under the bench dontcha know

)
It did a 360 through the air and was mostly unscathed ... except for a dozen spikes that broke off when it brushed past the folding table (that it SHOULD have been put on, out of harms way) on its way down to the floor ...
Some Loctite Gel took care of gluing the breaks (amazingly I found 11 out of 12 of the broken spikes on the ground ... and had another 'extra' for the missing one) ...
*The drawer underneath the workbench has been affectionately dubbed "Trevor's Shelf" as a thanks for the inspiration that our Admin gave me to create it
,,,
Tonight, I mixed some more lighter blue and metallic blues (4 different colors) into the preexisting jar of blue-gray paint mix for the Sauroposeidon. The prior attempt I found to be too dark. Slapped on some more of the new paint hue that is now drying (see photo collage) ... much happier with this one ... this I can work with and more importantly it will not get too dark after the later oil washes are added ... onward and upward - CARPE DIEM!!!
