And here I thought you might be posting about this little number

As for the link you posted. Not bad. Kind of reminds me of older Rush, but kind of slowed down.

I got the final (as oppose to the teaser) email notification on that at 8am this-morning (11am your time) . . . I'm quite fond of Halestorm
(you probably didn't realise that) . . . but they chose the wrong day to release a new song - there is no way in hell they can compete with a brain full of Ghost worship
I'll try and get to it later (maybe tomorrow).

OMG - 3rd single officially released . . . I honestly don't have the words . . .
Same here Spike. I thought the the first two singles were good (especially the 2nd one), but I love Peacefield!
As for Halestorm, I really like it too. Lizzy's vocal style on this one kinda reminds me of Melissa Etheridge though. Not, that that's necessarily a bad thing.

Ghost - “Skeletá”
I’ve posted this elsewhere, but figured I’d add here too (at least for Mark, and maybe Trev, Vlad & a few others may like bits-and-pieces).
Having got hold of a high-quality FLAC download (much better than the copies available on YouTube), my
overall impression is that it is easily
"up there" with their last 3 albums, but may not be as good as 2022’s
“Impera”).
It has some real treasures.
Well worth the pennies I’ve forked out for the bone-coloured
(appropriate given what happened to one of the guitarists at the O2 London UK gig on April 19th) vinyl exclusive I ordered from Sweden (I had to order from their home country . . . and yes they DID put the “ABBA” into S
ABBAth!)
It really is an eclectic mix of styles, but is very much influenced by the 80’s (always the best decade for music as far as I am concerned).
Easily lives up to expectations and hype, and the emotional (and extended rock family) online connections that resulted from the buildup (and continue) have been impressive to see.
Simple colour grading:
Thoughts and order of preference:

Of course, my 2 favorites are Satanized and Umbra (which doesn't have nearly enough cowbell in the chorus or solos

)
For some reason Cenotaph reminds me of GTR.
I thought Excelsis actually had some potential but they didn't follow through with it. If it had just a bit of an edge to it, it would be a good track. But as it sits, it is too soft and a bit too long.
I think the most disappointing for me was Missilia Amori
It started with such promise, but then fell flat soon after. No energy to it. The first 20-25 seconds were a good intro, but then that ended up being the high point as it just plodded along at the same pace and tone from there.

And now we get a video - lots of interesting bits from the stage show
And yes - that
IS me holding the sign at 4:15 . . . (OK - not really).
Love the female presence & energy in the audience (and on the stage).
- Ghost - Peacefield - THE VIDEO!

K - this made me laugh out loud (as well as being a great video and song).
Loved the various little (and not so little) callbacks / references / member berries.
- (* I also figured I should post this NOW before Vlad fills up our servers
*)

Does anyone remember when listening to Alice Cooper was the worst thing you could do in your life? Came on my Hippie radio station today. Love the old song but never saw this video........

Spent the day indoors working my project listening to Hippie Radio. The number 1 song on the 4th from 1948!
