What did everyone buy at the show?

My main purchase was sort of a grail kit (at least to me): Blade II from Forbidden Zone (see the Model Museum for examples, like this one by Steve Parke http://museum.theclubhouse1.net/submiss ... tblade.htm). I couldn't really afford it when it was in production many years ago. Then, the next time I got to WonderFest, it was OOP and I couldn't find it at all. Can't remember whose table it was on, but there was a cleaned-up and primed kit of the Daywalker from someone's private collection. My radar immediately "blipped" when I saw that translucent red resin base! Very happy to finally add this to my collection.

You picked that Blade kit up from me at the Three King's Resin table. Glad I was able to fulfill one of your grails. I purchased it at Wonderfest the first year FZ issued it. It's a great kit. I'm more of a builder than a collector so I decided it was time to thin the collection a bit and get rid of some stuff I just wouldn't have time to build. I'll have some other stuff next year.

Thanks very much, homeboy! I was just looking around online today for a good flickering flame effect for that red translucent base. Can't wait to see that slain vampire in burning cinders!

Seriously, I am so excited to have this kit now. There's nothing like it in my collection. I can't wait to get started!
