my friend Joachim Lindman ( who 1996 made the "Dark Rider" (deathdealer) that now Moebius is doing a styrene kit on)
grew up in that area and was neighbour and went to the same school as the author "John Ajvide Lindqvist" and was classmate to the two guys that bullied him... :2guns: and hade that gym-teacher... 8)
so I'v heard lots of things about it...

Just finished The Kid Stays in the Picture: A Notorious Lifeby Robert Evans. A really good read and I enjoyed this one.
Started Clive Barkers The Scarlet Gospels.
Love Harry D'Amour and combined with Pinhead should be pretty exciting. I'm way behind on my Clive B books so it looks like I have some catching up to do.
Last book I read of his was Sacrament, which I didn't enjoy as much as his others.

Just started Snakes! Guillotines! Electric Chairs!: My Adventures in The Alice Cooper Group by Dennis Dunaway. I'm a Big Alice fan!

also bought:

Armada by Ernest Cline. Enjoyed his 'Ready Player One', so will
check this out.

Red Tide by Larry Niven.

and sadly, the last Discworld novel, The Shepherd's Crown (Tiffany Aching)
by Terry Pratchett.

Snakes! Guillotines! Electric Chairs!: My Adventures in The Alice Cooper Group by
Dennis Dunaway

... done. Give it a 6...wasn't bad. Did watch a documentary on Shep Gordon (Netflix)
directed by Mike Myers...and Shep took most of the credit that Dennis takes for himself
in the book! So who knows which version is right! If I get a chance to shoot the s*
w/ him at Chiller, I'll ask him about it!

Armada by Ernest Cline. Not as good as 'Ready Player One'.
Read like a 'Last Starfighter' rip off. Ending was pretty predictable. Give this one a 2.

Reading an oldie now... Isaac Asimov's 'The Gods Themselves' 1/2 way through
and no idea where it's going, but as always w/ Isaac, I'm enjoying the ride!

Sadly, have the last DISCWORLD novel on the wait pile... gonna miss Terry! :(

I just finished reading the last book (5 total) of Theirs Not to Reason Why series by Jean Johnson.
Its a military sci-fi book set in a world ravaged by war.
Here is the link to the first book http://www.amazon.com/Soldiers-Duty-The ... 225&sr=1-7

I usually don't like too military books, but this was awesome :D

Just finished Red Tide by Larry Niven.

Was actually a collaboration. Larry's old orig novella... with a more recent
novella written by Larry to update it and set down the rules and then 2 novice
authors added their novella to make the book.

The 1st novice story was good, but the 2nd one was crap. Did enjoy Niven's,
of course. But overall, if you've already have the 1973 novella “Flash Crowd,”
then I'd skip this unless you're a Niven purist.

On to the last (sob) Discworld.

Sadly...I finished (much too quickly) "The Shepherd's Crown" by Pterry.

He passed why before his time! :( Thank you for the journey, Sir Terry!
I will revisit the Disc many times before I join ya!

Also, some technical books on C#, trying to branch out my programming skills :D

"V-S Day" by Allen Steele.
Its an alternate history where Hitler stops von Braun's V2 program and wants him to create a "space bomber" to attack the USA. FDR getting intel has Robert Goddard try to come up with a deterrent.
